Ethics history
There has been 4 types of ethics since the concept was created, the first concept of ethics was created in 470-270 B.C and was called the Greco-Latin ethics in which philosophers began to reason about what good is and how it can be achieved, in here the first virtues were proposed and the ethical thinking began with socrates, thats why his known as the father of ethics and he tend to held the need to reflect what is good in order to do so. Then the Medieval ethics were created, during this time the church predominated so the point of view had to be linked to religion morals, and christian philosophy taught to love others as one should love oneself, after the Medieval ethics the modern ethics were created, in here Thomas Hobbes thought that a human can be a God or a wolf in society but this can be prevented when we are organized as a society, but also Benedict Spinoza believed that ethics should follow the method of natural science in which he identified good with pleasure, what he meant with this was that. we dont want things for being good, but its good because we want it, finally Contemporary ethics were invented in here the central topic is freedom in which Soren Aabye mentioned that when human make decisions they do so in the middle of uncertainty and he considered that freedom allows humans to interact and become voluntarily good at the end. And thats how the concepts of ethics were created, what I consider interesting in all of the history of ethics its how concepts change with time because people change and eventually society changes so whats considered right and wrong also changes, so its funny how what we may consider normal or right in this moment maybe in a couple of years it´ll be considered wrong.4
