About me_Estefanía Arias R-1 C

 My name is Estefanía I personally don’t have an specific nick name, usually people call me Estefanía or Estef or something like that, as a hobbie during this pandemic I took cooking and I love it  because its relaxing and fun and the best part you get to eat what you want but I really miss being able to go out with my friends and being at my sports ( I play archery and flag football).  Since I was little, I have always loved homemade BBQ ribs or any kind of BBQ ribs, I also really like sushi but not any kind just the ones without avocado because weirdly I don’t like avocado at least for me it tastes weird.

What I expect from this class is to learn a lot and have fun, I really dislike being all the time at my house because before this I was always out training or with my friends, I think there’s always something to improve in the society and something that needs to be improved its the economy and I think we could help this with better education and more opportunities for people with low resources, another thing to improve in the society it’s the security all around the world because this have been a problem since a long time ago and it only increasing, maybe with better values and really har work we could help decrease this problem. 

I think thats a little something of who I am. :)

Domestic violence in Mexico

  Domestic violence is a tipe of violence in which one of the members of a family violents another member, but in Mexico sadly this has been a problem since a long time ago, for example according to "El economista" just in 2019, 239,219 cases of domestic violence were reported, and this year just in the first three months domestic violence increased 20.7%, but the scariest thing is that in the first three weeks of social distancing 911 calls of domestic violence increased 60%,     therefore the question everyones asking is "how can we decrease domestic violence?, according to the UNICEF there are some strategies that can be implemented in order to decrease this type of violence like give education to the parents that way if necesary they will implement positive disciplinary methods instead ofcreating a trauma in the kid, another strategy that is said to work is to change the social norms of discrimination and violence, this way any type of violence wont be seen as normal...
